Your task now is to improve your plans, presentations and products. Please
take the feedback you've had verbally and in writing and start the
improvement in whatever ways have been suggested. We will also want to
ensure you contact us for any mentoring you need, legal, financial,
technical or whatever. We have an array of mentors in waiting! You have
until TBD 2008 to get your latest and greatest presentations to me!
At the TBD 2008 event you will have an opportunity to tell the judges
how you used their feedback and what changes you have made. This will occur
behind closed doors and will mostly be a Q&A. Most of the judges will have
heard your main presentation before. You will do two things at that event:

1. Summarize your plan and then tell the judges what changes and additions you've made to your plan, product (e.g.. prototype tested), etc. You will probably be bombarded with questions, be prepared. I suggest working with your mentors to anticipate ALL questions. We will also arrange for one or more of the judges you had in the last round to provide you more feedback. Have your product with you if you can.
2. Give a brief, five-ten minute "elevator pitch" to the general public at the event - this could be similar to the one you have been using. You will want to convince them you should win and they want your product. I suggest less technical and more sales and marketing oriented, this contest is about the business plan remember, who you'll sell to and why they'll buy it.

First and second prize will be chosen by the judges, third prize is people's choice! We will do this by a ballot vote. You should invite EVERYONE you know! It will be open to the public and they are the ones voting for you.

Please bring to TBD 2008 evening event:

1. Your posters - this will give the public something to see while you are
with the judges being scrutinized.
2. Your ENTIRE team, as you know the judges will ask technical as well as business questions and someone MUST be able to answer all the questions.
3. Your product - or at least pictures of it. Having a tangible item in hand
is worth a thousand words
4. Everyone you know to vote for you.
